Dell PowerScale & Isilon Scale-Out NAS Support
Scale-out NAS clusters grow node-by-node over years, so lifecycle risk is uneven across a single cluster and rarely matches a one-size refresh. Kelri provides independent support for Dell PowerScale and Isilon — node-level diagnostics, component replacement coordination, and capacity planning that treats the cluster as the living system it is.
What Kelri supports
- Scale-out NAS infrastructure assessments across Isilon and PowerScale node generations.
- Node-level hardware fault diagnostics and isolation.
- Component-replacement coordination for drives, nodes, and infrastructure.
- Capacity and performance analysis across the cluster.
- Lifecycle advisory for mixed-generation clusters.
Infrastructure lifecycle benefits
- Manage lifecycle per node generation instead of refreshing a whole cluster.
- Keep aging Isilon generations supported alongside newer PowerScale nodes.
- Plan expansion and retirement on real capacity and performance evidence.
Supported model examples
Representative models — examples, not an exhaustive or guaranteed-coverage list. Lifecycle status is verified per configuration; where a date is not independently verified, it is shown as requiring verification rather than assumed.
- Isilon X-SeriesLifecycle status requires verification
- Isilon S-SeriesLifecycle status requires verification
- Isilon NL-SeriesLifecycle status requires verification
- PowerScale F-SeriesLifecycle status requires verification
- PowerScale H-SeriesLifecycle status requires verification
- PowerScale A-SeriesLifecycle status requires verification
FAQ
Can you support a mixed Isilon and PowerScale cluster?
Yes. Kelri supports mixed-generation scale-out NAS at the hardware and lifecycle level, assessing each node generation's condition and role rather than treating the cluster as a single refresh decision.
Do you support OneFS software issues?
Kelri focuses on hardware diagnostics, lifecycle, and operational planning. We do not provide Dell-entitled OneFS software or updates the customer is not licensed to use.
